How to capture screen on Ubuntu

Capture whole screen

You should use PrtSc key.

When you press the PrtSc key, you can see this dialog to save it.

Capture specific region

You can use Alt+PrtSc key combination to capture activated window.

When you press the keys you can see this screen to save the picture.

If you want to capture specific region, you should install capture application, "Shutter" to save and edit the screen.

Install Shutter on Ubuntu software center

Run shutter application

Select "Selection ion" to start capture

Drag specific region to start and press Enter to end

Save the image or copy it
